Founder

Dr. J. Douglas Kirkpatrick, D.C.

Dr. Kirkpatrick founded Dallas Wellness Center in 1994, starting out on Bowser Avenue across from Pappadeaux before the practice grew into its current home in the Uptown Tower.

His care includes treatment for neck and back disorders, soft tissue sprains and strains, osteoarthritis of the spine, whiplash and cervicogenic headaches, with a focus on auto and work related injuries.

Before chiropractic, he spent eight years in the entertainment industry in Los Angeles performing in national tours, TV, film and Disney productions, and was a competitive swimmer from elementary school through high school.

Associate Chiropractor

Dr. Ryan A. Stewart, D.C.

Dr. Stewart joined Dallas Wellness Center in 2011, using a whole person approach that looks at the underlying cause of pain rather than just the symptom.

He works with patients to build a personal wellness plan, drawing on his own experience as an avid skier and distance runner who has completed two Dallas White Rock Lake marathons.
